First one I have heard of. The CM has determined that the PIP 2 was incomplete in many areas that made assessing the claim an impossibility. They have used Section 8 (1) and determined that claimant is not entitled to PIP.
The failure as stated by the DWP is that information (a) full names and addresses of supporting medical professionals had not been disclosed and (b) very little further information/explanations had not been given.

The CM told me that section 8 (1) can be used for any reason or failure when a duty to supply is applied (up to 30 days to return the PIP2).

We are just within the MR period.

Is this a new DWP tactic being used in order to dispose of incomplete (for any reason) claim forms?
