DWP agree to signpost more effectively to appeal process

NAWRA members had raised a problem with PIP mandatory reconsideration letters advising claimants to go to http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals to download an appeal pack. If you go to this site it is not easy to navigate through to find the SSCS1.

NAWRA raised this issue with the PIP Programme Team and asked that claimants instead be directed through to the gov.uk pages - https://www.gov.uk/social-security-child-support-tribunal.

This is the reply NAWRA received -

Thanks for your suggestion. Our communications team have agreed with this and we intend to include a direct link to the Tribunal/Appeal pages on gov.uk on future communications. We expect the revised notifications to be issued later in the year but at the moment we cannot provide a specific implementation date.

So no date for implementation but at least progress…
