UC overpayment notification

As I understand it, even in the world of UC you should receive a decision if you are overpaid (this is mentioned in the COP1).

When I phoned UC the other day, they told me such a decision was on its way, but all that was received was a breakdown of payments to be received, which deducted a large chunk to start to recover the overpayment in question.

Is this really all we get now?  I suspect most claimants might at least want to know how much it was, and a few other details about why they’d been overpaid in the first place.

Any experience of this?
