I have a client who was told by a frien to claim PIP, he currently gets dla low care and low mob, on an assessment of his needs he is likely to be refusde PIP, what happens if he withdraws his PIP claim, will his dla continue or will he lose his dla ?

In case no one with techie knowledge does show up (I certainly don’t fit that description) the answer is that they need to go ahead with the PIP claim as their DLA will stop anyway. See reg 12 of the PIP transitional provisions regulations.
