DWP are extending PIP to existing claimants in 10 new postcode areas from 30th March. These areas are: BL (Bolton), CW (Crewe), FK (Falkirk), FY (Fylde), HU (Hull), OL (Oldham), SK (Stockport), TA (Taunton), TQ (Torquay), TR (Truro).

The PIP map had been updated - but there appears to be an error in it as it is highlighting Tonbridge (TN) as a reassessment area rather than Taunton.

In one part of the DWP blurb it says 27th March, in another it says 30th.

Anyone know which it actually is???

There are at least 3 references to 30 march - the PIP map - the updates reference on the gov.uk page and one reference in the rollout of PIP document - but only one to 27 march so i think 27 is a typo.

Again PIP is on the agenda at operational stakeholders tomorrow - will confirm then

We contacted the PIP Implementation Team at the DWP and they have confirmed that the PDF map is incorrect. Apparently a revised version of the map is to be uploaded that will omit Tonbridge (TN) from the colour coded areas but include Taunton (TA).
