Inclusion of additional info in appeal ppaers by DLA
Client submitted fresh claim then appeal following award then refusal @ previous appeal of DLA to increase award.
Advised by WRO that challenging previous deciiosn was not worth pursuing and a fresh claim submitted as condition had worsened. This was refused and an appeal submitted.
The appeal papers have some 200 pages in excess of required (some 114) supplied by DWP for tribunals info.
Any advice guidance as to dealing with this situation? DLA point out claimed date care/mobility needs began was 2003 - thus raisng the possibility of an overpayment….....
