As stated by a decision maker today during a call back regarding an ESA case and delay in dealing with the claimants application for a supersession (from wrag to sg) made in April 13!

This is from the same decision maker at Lowestoft BC who advised us that the full rate of ESA can be paid during the MR period when a tribunal has previously found the person to have LcFW on appeal against a previous decision!

For the eyes of DWP reading this. We understand this DM (male - initials CA) works on the ESA ‘reconsiderations team’ at Lowestoft DRT. We would suggest he is in urgent need of additional training.

Sorry peter, but he sounds to have already risen to his own level of incompetence therefore no further training necessary.

Like a lady from the pension service who refused to consider an SDP that triggered pension credit following a succesful AA award as “you cant have an SDP considered unless you are on PC in the first place”
makes sense…...........

Priceless!

Mind you, the times I’ve had to try to explain what a ‘supersession’ is. Admittedly that’s usually to the frontline staff rather than to a DM.
