Hi Ros
Compared to what in the previous year?
Social welfare volumes have fallen by 79 per cent in 2013-14 compared to 2012-13.
Within this the largest falls were in welfare (over 88,000 fewer) and debt (nearly 80,000 fewer) when compared to the previous year.
Welfare benefits -
2010/2011 - 121,169
2011/2012 - 110,736
2012/2013 - 88,380
2013/2014 - 149
see page 22 for more ...
Thanks Shawn
I notice it gives the percentage change between 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 but not between 2012/2013 and 2013/2014. I’ve just tried to work it out but my calculator couldn’t compute the numbers and blew up. Anyone?
I just did online calculator thing which said it was a decrease of 99.56 per cent.
Radical maan!!
Yes .. i just had a go and think it’s fallen by “quite a lot”
