Any periods on SSP where no conts credited? Employers don’t always credit for periods on SSP. Checked earnings against conts to ensure they’re accurately calc’d?

I would also find out whether the client has terminated employment during the relevant tax year and, if so, check that the employer concerned has paid over their contributions.  I have personal experience of an employer who neglected to send in NI contributions for all employees who had left employment during that year.  The error came to light 3 years later when someone claimed a contributory benefit.
