Pension Service in meltdown for those with PC clerical claims. 

This does not surprise me in the least. My experience of the Pension Service over the past 5 years has seen it go from bad to worse.

Information given to me today (name given but identity protected) after a heated conversation, suggests that there is now only one officer that is responsible for all of the ‘Clerical Claims for PC’ in the UK!!!

There were four, but one died and two others gave up wanting to work there!

I was further advised that they are ‘training two people up’ who should be ‘up to speed’ within the next month or so!!

What a carry on - and certainly a way of reducing overheads - just don’t bother to employ the staff.
