ESA Descriptor - Learning Tasks
Hi
Have tried to look on here re caselaw but can’t seem to find anything.
Is there caselaw on what ‘learn’ actually means?
If a client could learn a simple task today but would not be able to remember by tomorrow and would have to be taught again is that enough to meet this descriptor? Or the fact they can remember for a few hours is that enough to score 0 points because they can learn a task?
Thanks
You should have a look at Work Capability Assessment handbook: for healthcare professionals
On the learning tasks activity, it is clear that “If a person learns a task on one day but is unable to repeat it the next day, they have not learned this task.” page 114.
Thank you very much for that.
