Flexible Friend
As we know a number of Housing Authorities are going down the route of flexible tenure….
The conclusion to this article in Nearly Legal made me smile…..

The tenant who has not paid their rent and has ended up on a suspended possession order (providing they meet the terms), is arguably now in a better (more secure) position than the tenant who plays by the rules, who can after all still be asked to leave his/her tenanncy at the end of the so called flexible tenancy…..
I think this is known in the trade as an unintended consequence.
