The one saving grace is that when they turn off the “we’re busy” answer machine it just cuts off after three minutes rather than keeping you hanging around listening to a ring tone for an age.
It was mooted that they’re trying to discourage people from filing claims with the ET this weekend; this is good evidence to back that up!
