HB extended payments were claimant’s previous HB subject to the Cap.
I have been asked about the award of HB extended payments where the claimant was previously subject to the overall benefit cap before starting work and claiming WTC. Would they receive the capped rate of HB that they were getting for the 4 week run on or what would have been their HB award if they had not been subject to the cap?
They get the uncapped amount for the period of the extended payment.
