In view of the current Commons Work & Pensions Cttee 2nd enquiry into the WCA and the forthcoming 5th Independent Review of the WCA everyone should read:

‘The real reason for the misery of work assessments’ in CPAGs Poverty journal

http://www.cpag.org.uk/policy-journal

Does this go some way to explain so many poor WCA decisions? Bearing in mind the WCA process was introduced in 1996 as the All Work Test and the quality of decisions has not improved since (and under ESA despite four Independent Reviews etc).
