Justice Committee launches inquiry into effect of changes to legal aid
Highlighting that part 1 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 sought to reduce the civil legal aid budget by removing specific areas of the law from scope, either wholly or in part, the Justice Committee says that it proposes to inquire into the impact of the LASPO changes.
