INCAP > ESA

I have a client who was moved over from INCAp to ESA and placed in WRAG.  We appealed and he was placed into Support Group back in 2010. 

He had another ESA50 form in June 2013 and he has just received a letter stating that he has been placed in SG again but that his payments are dropping from £112.50 to £106.50 per week.  I told him to telephone them as he should be covered by the “Transitional protection” and should continue to receive the higher amount until ESA catches up

On phoning the ESA section he was told that’s the amount (£106.50) he will be receiving now due to a change in the regulations. 

Anyone had this problem, or anyone know of the change in Regs?
