Arrears of cbESA - capital for MTB?
My clt was placed in the support grp and subsequently paid £1200 cbESA arrears. Our argument that clt was entitled to irESA was then accepted and clt paid around £4000 irESA arrears. Unfortunately prior to these payments clt was sat at around £5k capital.
I am aware that irESA arrears can be ignored for 52 weeks from payment for MTB. How about cbESA? Will it be treated as capital from date paid?
