Hospital in-patient
I saw a client yesterday who is in a general hospital ward awaiting the outcome of tests for bowel cancer.
Due to certain lifestyle choices he has not received any benefits for 18 weeks.
He was also under arrest and had been taken to the hospital by the police.
Will he get ESA for the period he is under arrest?
