My client has been receiving working tax credit but shouldn’t have been.  She is about to inform tax credits of mistake and the award will stop.  She will then be entitled to pension credit.  If we request 3 months backdating of PC will WTC be disregarded in backdated period as it is an overpayment or will it count as income as she actually received it even though she shouldnt have?

Any help appreciated.
