Hi,

I’m not sure what to advise my clients:-

My client, is 21, getting ESA assessment phase rate of £56.80, has a partner, 21, who is now living with her and so she is changing her ESA claim from single to joint claim. Her partner was claiming JSA and getting support from a personal advisor at his JC+. Can anyone tell me what he will be expected to do once he is part of the joint ESA claim. Will he be allocated an advisor at JC+? will he have to take part in work-focussed interviews? He is concerned about what support he will get to find work as that is his aim.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for reading
