Post Office accounts

Well. today I am celebrating an entire year since last I had to ask a client to sign a CW1, however for various reasons I am once again embroiled in the beaureucratic nightmare that is Legal Aid.

I have a client who is struggling to satisfy the evidence requirements; can’t find her last PO account statement and I’m wondering whether anyone has recent experience of asking for duplicates, how long do they take to issue them and the suchlike.

Has anyonen recent experience of contacting PO over the telephone to make enquiries? Are they helpful?
