I have just read the 2 articles in Legal Action by Tom Royston (see attached) quite lengthy but a worthwhile read for those interested in attempting to get legal aid funding since the drastic cuts in April.
Public law challenges, judicial review and exceptional funding are covered.
I would be interested in finding out if anyone has pursued any of these routes and if there has been any luck.
In particular has anyone had any luck in applying for exceptional funding for complex representation.
Any feedback/comments would be greatly appreciated.
