Has numbers of incapacity claimant fallen?

Just wondering if there are any official (or unofficial) stats on numbers receiving IB/IS due to illness/ disability pre-Oct 2008 and numbers now receiving IB/IS (pre -migration) and ESA?

They should be in the DWP records.  Do a FOI request for the numbers for each year that you want.

That’s a good idea - or get our local MP to ask a question in the House, as far as I know he hasn’t opened his mouth once in over 10 years.
