No new welfare cuts in spending review?
Following reports that Iain Duncan Smith prepared to accept further cuts to benefits for working age claimants to protect defence and police budgets, George Osborne told BBC today that there would be no welfare cuts that haven’t already been announced in the spending review of 26 June -
For this year?
i reckon so, also, have already said that spending review will set out annual expenditure limit for welfare for first time.
