Processing at home
I have heard that in the Leeds/Halifax area the DWP are recruiting people to process benefit claims working at home.
Anyone else heard this, what are the safeguarding, data protection, confidentiality risks?
I haven’t had any personal experience of this. Although there are many issues around data protection etc, I don’t think it would be insurmountable. Many local authorities allow home working and have protocols in place to ensure compliance with the law.
