Hi folks , another day another query.
I have a client who has been shunted (again) from ESA SG to WRAG.

She suffers from too many illnesses to describe, but her main debilitating condition is her inability to cope with unfamiliar and unexpected people, CPN referral meetings, appointments etc without experiencing panic and fear.
I have requested that she is to be considered for the SG, and even the Atos report describes her mental health condition to cause a likely functional disability. Nervous, sweaty, shaking, poor eye contact etc. Her GP also says she has a personality disorder and she is not currently fit for any type of work related activity.

A wonderful DWP DM has refused this reconsideration request and it will go to tribunal, so i have had to refer her for more specialist help on this occasion.

My query is this :

The DWP sub states she has no problem with social engagement as she attended her Atos WCA. She also attends hospital appointments and GP appointments. I think this conclusion is quite frankly ridiculous as her hospital and GP appts are familiar to her, which reduces her anxiety a bit, and she had no choice with regard to her WCA attendance. She had to go, but that doesnt mean she did so without extreme fear and anxiety!

I can see future reconsideration requests failing for the same reasons if the same DM is involved. Can anyone offer me any advice how to counter this in future recon requests, or am i wasting my time in trying to reduce the workload of Tribunal and Welfs?.

Thanks, as always
