Work longer to keep spare room
Anybody else see this . http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-21366303 . Steve Webb suggesting people facing a cut in housing benefit because they have a spare room in their council home could work more hours to keep it. 3 hours a week will cover it !
So a single claimant working 16 hours changes his/her hours to 19.
The increase in income covers the 14% bedroom tax but the subsequent reduction in HB entitlement virtually wipes it out.
