Generally in Northern Ireland the client’s GP records are available to all parties at the hearing in DLA Appeals. It was my understanding that this was not the case in GB. At a hearing today the LQM informed that GP notes are now routinely available at tribunal hearing in GB.

Can I ask if this is the case?

Thanks

In my experience only if a Tribunal requests them and then adjourns to a later date once they’ve been received.

In my experiance when a tribunal adjourns to get medical record they write to the appellant first to get them to agree to the request.

To clarify i’m talking about when they adjourn on the day of a hearing - the client signs the authority there and then and another hearing date is usually arranged pretty soon after the GP records are received.
