The Government’s vision of a simpler, more efficient consumer landscape is well on its way to becoming a reality. Consumer advice, education and advocacy are coming together under one Citizens Advice service roof, which is welcome news at a time when consumers are struggling more than ever.

But no single organisation has a monopoly of ideas or influence, and they want your help to make sure that they deliver the most effective advice, education and advocacy for consumers, tackling the issues that matter most in the coming year.

They have outlined their proposed approach and priorities for their future consumer education and policy programmes in a document – Consumer Future, Changing the world where it matters most (pdf file).

And now they want to hear your views to help them develop their plans further, as well as how you’d like to be involved. There’s a short survey you can complete either online or a paper version to make it easier for you.

Their plans will then be published in the new year.
