Just a quick check to make sure I haven’t totally misunderstood the rules, as my interpretation is wildly different to JC+ staff (wouldn’t be the first time)...

Client is single no kids, on IBJSA and gets housing costs having served the 13 week waiting period.  Has been offered a few weeks temporary full time work but jobcentre have told him if he takes this and then recaims he will have to wait another 13 weeks for housing costs.

My understanding of the info in CPAG is that in this situation the 2nd claim will be treated as a linked claim if within 52 weeks, and therefore no waiting period for costs…can someone confirm whether me or JC+ is correct just for my (and client’s) peace of mind and sanity please.  I’m pretty sure it is me but don’t want to misadvise!
