On an ESA medical report under the heading Exceptional Circumstances
“The non-functional descriptors were not considered for this case as curtailment applied”.

Haven’t seen the client yet so I don’t know if the medical was cut short ???
Anyone seen it before/ got any bright ideas???

It means, in view of the HCP, your client gets 15 points and so they didn’t need to consider whether, having failed to do so, she could nonetheless pass the test on the grounds she had a specific illness etc which would cause a substantial risk to her or someone elses health if she was found fit for work.

Thank you, that’s a lot clearer.  Not happy with it but I understand what they have done.
