Time Limited C-ESA

Dear All

Where a claimant is in receipt of IB and is transferred to C-ESA, does the 12 month time limit begin as from the date of conversion?

Yes it does.

But also consider whether you client can meet the criteria in schedule 3

We are getting a lot of client’s who have been placed in the WRAG group following conversion from IB when they should clearly be in the support group.

The support group is exempt from the 365 day rule so one wonders why this is going on or am I being paranoid again :)
