Can anyone help with this -

I have a client who has asked what will happen with his benefits if he moves to Northern Ireland. I know there’s a separate system of administration for benefits but they are the same. He gets ESA and DLA - does anyone know if he will have to make entirely new claims for these or does it just get transferred? If he does have to make new claims, would he be put back to assessment phase ESA initially?
