HMRC to take on mandatory revision before appeal provisions
HMRC has confirmed to us that child benefit and guardian’s allowance are to be included in the mandatory revision before appeal provisions the DWP plans to introduce from April 2013.
In addition, HMRC says that it will be issuing a consultation on introducing a mandatory consideration for the tax credit appeals process and that it aims to get the consultation document published by early summer.
