Date carer’s premium should be included in housing benefit award
If carer’s allowance/underlying entitlement is awarded on a Monday, should the carer’s premium be added to the housing benefit assessment on the same day or should it be seven days later on the following Monday? The housing benefit is an ongoing claim and the underlying entitlement was backdated. There is no income support/pension credit entitlement. Thanks
