Crisis Loan whilst on JSA Sanction
Like most other advisers I’m seeing more & more clients who are having sanctions placed on their JSA. Those in this situation have serious restrictions placed on what else they can access.
However the CPAG HNBK and the IRS guidance that I’ve seen states that those with a JSA sanction may still apply for a crisis loan for “cooking & heating costs”. However I’m struggling to get a clearer defintion of what this actually means - is it purely the means to cook or does food come into it?
Any thoughts (and experiences welcome)
