If you are in receipt of ESA and wish to go on holiday, you can continue to be entitled to ESA during your absence abroad for the first 4 weeks provided the absence is unlikely to exceed 52 weeks. Does anyone know if you use this 4 week absence, is there any requirement for the ESA claimant to remain in Great Britain for a certain amount of time before using the 4 week absence again?

There is no restriction on how many times you can use this provision for a temporary absence - the danger is that if it is used regularly and frequently close, it may call into question if the absence is temporary -
