Competitive tender for new Community Legal Advice helpline contracts

LSC is holding an open day in relation to the tender for new Community Legal Advice helpline contracts -

A full competitive tender is intended to be run for the new specialist telephone advice contracts for the Community Legal Advice (CLA) helpline in line with proposals for the reform of legal aid.

You can find out more about , the CLA service, the tender process and how we plan to work with successful providers by attending an open day.

There will be two open day sessions on 14 March 2012 at 10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4pm at First Assist Hinckley, Wheatfield Way, Hinckley Fields Estate, Hinckley LE10 1YG

Places for the open day are on a ‘first come first served basis’ and are limited to one person per organisation.

The CLA helpline provides legal advice direct to the public on a range of common legal problems.

It offers specialist legal advice, including casework, to clients eligible for legal aid, and was launched in July 2004 by the Legal Services Commission.
