Work Programme

We have a number of Unemployed & Sick volunteers working with us all doing it of their own free will.

Some have now been told they will start on the Work Programme next month.

I seem to think I read somewhere that anyone who was doing voluntary work already was NOT required to participate in the Work Programme, I cannot find this info anywhere now can anyone help.

As an indepemdent agency we would never consider having anyone forced on us via the Work Programme so this route is out.

We are also looking at other ways to limit people being forced to get involved in the Work Programme but that’s a seperate issue.
