Lengt of Sicknotes
Hi Everyone,
A colleague of mine has come across a situation for a client that has left us a little bemused.
A claimant had an application for ESA in september, provided a sick note and has been getting payments. he has yet to have an assessment. This week he did not get paid. He contacted the jobcentre to be told that they now do not accept sicknotes that last longer than 3 months. i certainly have not come across this and i can’t see anything in the regs. Has anyone got any info on this?
