Preaching to the choir

I wonder about making some noise about the “claim closed” notices posted to UC claims on closure.  They need amending.

hidden on the journal is a letter saying “we’ve stopped your claim cuz XYZ, you can appeal if you want to” but between the claimant and that letter is a big screen saying “you need to make a new claim” which people act on and immediately make the reasons for the decision disappear.

It simply won’t do!

I’ve just advised about 3 or 4 people (actually lost count) about this. All claim closures due to not accepting new commitments. Of course unable to check whether they had actually been informed of the new commitments via journal, because they’d reclaimed.
