From the Administrative Justice Council:

Do you advise or assist clients to navigate their way through the administrative justice system?  Would you like to make a difference and contribute to the improvement of the system for your clients? If so, the Administrative Justice Council (AJC) requests your feedback.

The AJC needs your help to learn more about the challenges faced by users in the administrative justice system.  We have two surveys open to advice representatives:

(i) The first relates to the work of our mental health working group

We want to understand –

Barriers to accessing justice arising from the personal characteristics or circumstances of people seeking justice;  how well the administrative justice system assists distressed users; how advising distressed users impacts on representatives.

Please complete our survey and share the link with your colleagues.

(ii) The second survey relates to the work of our digitisation working group who are seeking feedback from advisers who assist with digital welfare benefits appeals.  We want to understand how digitisation has impacted users and seek feedback on the experience of advisors assisting their clients with the online appeals process.

Can you offer your insights on current user experiences and the impact of the digital reforms of the administrative justice system? Please complete our short survey and circulate it to colleagues.

The surveys will take 5-10 minutes to complete and will be open until 29th September 2023.  The results will be anonymised and will be published in our reports next year.

Thank you!
