withdrawing’ existing UC claim, can it be done

my clients get ns jsa, a couple echa get it, they are above UC so don’t get any UC money, can they withdraw teh UC claim as jsa is much easier to dela with as self employed people with occasional work

You can relinquish a benefit if you don’t want it.

nsJSA is only going to last for 6 months though.

There’s a button on UC claims to withdraw the claim at the moment. Probably a saving measure to prevent people who start work and who’s earnings reduce within 6 months from benefiting…
