Affordable rent- Evidence requirements for LA. 

We have some new build properties that are being let with Affordable rents at 65% of market rent as agreed at development stage with the Local Authority.

We are now at first let stage and the LA are asking us for a full breakdown of charges. Our understanding is that this is not necessary for affordable rent however we have been honest about £15 per week which we deem ineligible as it is individual water and a wellbeing service that is provided.

Anyone else had this issue as the LA are refusing to back down and are also implying that they feel the rents are unreasonably high?
