GMWRAG - Greater Manchester Welfare Rights Advisers Group

I know you can find information about GMWRAG elsewhere on this site but it occurs to me that a number of people on here may not be aware that we’re around and active so I thought I’d take the opportunity to post up the fact that you can find GMWRAG and our members online as follow:

Our website is http://gmwrag.wordpress.com. You can subscribe to the site easily so that you’re notified of any new posts on the site almost immediately by email. As you’ll see there’s a surprising amount of depth to the site nowadays.

If you’re in the North West of England and you’d like to author stuff on the website occasionally (although regularly would be welcome :)) just use the “Contact GMWRAG” form at http://gmwrag.wordpress.com/contact-gmwrag/ to let us know. Authoring/writing stuff is very easy to do. In fact the basics are already up on the site at http://gmwrag.wordpress.com/our-training-courses-2/

You can also follow GMWRAG on social networks. On Facebook a quick search for our rather basic page using the word “GMWRAG” should find us.

On Twitter we are “@GMWRAGtweets” written just like that without the speech marks.

We tend to use these as another means of alerting members to new posts on the site but we’ve been known to get involved in some interesting debates too. In these interesting times for the advice sector we’re hoping to expand that role.
