New Style ESA and SMP/MA

Is it possible to claim new style ESA and SMP or Maternity Allowance at the same time?

I reckon not for SMP as still employed, but I’m not very sure.

I can’t find an answer for MA.

Any pointers would be appreciated!

from my understanding you can claim MA and ESA at the same time however due to overlapping benefit rules you would get the higher of the 2 - similar to CA and MA

pg 720 CPAG might be helpful for you
