PIP review - Delays

Hi All,

Just really putting this out there in case anyone has managed any good strategies to get a PIP review dealt with in a reasonable time.

I have had two clients recently that completed an AR1 with a change of circs as they believe they are entitled to enhanced rates as opposed to the standard rates they are currently receiving.

My first client was advised it could take 14 months to be dealt with and is about 7 months in.  My second client is 17 months into this wait with still no indication of when it may be looked at.  Both of their current awards have been extended and it would not impact any means tested benefits as such..

I am putting in complaints and will escalate to ICE but based on information I am seeing and getting back from DWP so far I am not sure how successful a complaint is going to be..

I don’t expect really there to be an answer but just trying all routes to see.
