Universal Credit WCA referral

I have a question regarding UC and referrals for a work capability assessment. I understand that unless the claimant is in receipt of PIP, they must be earning less than 16 x minimum wage for a referral.

If a claimant of Universal Credit becomes unwell and goes onto SSP and asks for a work capability assessment, and they are not in receipt of PIP, I understand they need to present a fit note and then they will be referred for the work capability assessment because they are now earning below 16 x minimum wage.

But if this claimant then returns to work within their 3 month waiting period and is earning over 16 x minimum wage (but is still entitled to UC), would their WCA continue to be carried out?
