UC backdating - following AM decision

Hi,

Following on from the earlier discussion, the UT has decided that a reconsideration request can be made to backdate a UC decision after the decision is made. (I feel the UT were being overly deferential by describing it as a difficult area of law rather than bleeding obvious.)

AM v Secretary of State (UC)

Has anyone managed to get the DWP to accept that this decision has happened, as they appear to be ignoring it and still issuing the same nonsensical letters about it being too late?

I am guessing that the answer is “no” and will remain so until such a time as the DWP abandons any plans to appeal to the CoA and issues guidance to decision makers incorporating the decision some time next year as per usual post-test case DWP procedure.

I have just received an appeal bundle where they say that AM refers only to PIP and not to UC

...

I don’t even have the faintest idea how to react to that.
